I am a multi-disciplined Graphic Designer with over 13 years experience in a variety of sectors including Travel, Healthcare, and Advertising. Having worked predominantly in marketing teams I am able to bring an excellent commercial awareness in brand strategy and cross-platform application, through to campaigns.

Digital Designer | TITAN TRAVEL

Apr 2018 - Oct 2019

Introduced as the first Digital Designer in the Studio I was able to shape and develop my role at Titan to suit the needs of the company. Since joining Titan I have been responsible for the website reskin to bring it more inline with a brand repositioning and print collateral. After the reskin my focus moved to the page design of the tour pages, finding a more mobile first approach and a better hierarchy / flow of information for the user.  Another large site project was to bring the Blog 'the Scenic Route' onto the main Titan site rather than it sit on a separate Wordpress site, thus improving our SEO. The design was to be more editorial than the rest of the website and I worked with the Senior Creative Copywriter and the development team to achieve this.
The Site resides on the Sitecore CMS platform and I learnt much more about this working closely with the development team.
I was also been heavily involved with email marketing projects which went through a similar branding revamp as the website. I self-taught Adobe Campaign and worked on the HTML and CSS of the email templates, which are fully responsive. I worked with MovableInk to discover new ways to personalise the email marketing to create a much more tailored and individual approach to our communications. I enjoyed video editing for social media purposes, or digital screen advertising for Trade partners. I also mastered the creation of cinemagraphs and gifs for a variety of uses online.

January 2019 - March 2020

My role enabled me to offer design consultation and guidance to the business with regards to the flagship websites and regular marketing campaigns that can branch across many outputs such as social media, emails, website banners, PPC ads and site adjustments. Working closely with development teams to get a real understanding of their work process and constantly looking for better methods to bridge the gaps between teams and seeking out improvements across the websites was part of my daily routine. For designing I encompass many elements to find a solution that works not only from a design perspective but I take other factors on board. This Includes knowledge of the latest web design trends and sympathetic towards key UX / UI framework, costs, team effort, deliverables and what constraints we might have to contend with at the same time striving to produce the best work possible for the brief given.

Design Team Leader with OLIVER Marketing, running a small team of designers in-house at Just Retirement in Reigate. My role included overseeing all operations including admin, finance, design concept, implementation and delivery, ensuring the team produces consistently high quality work as well as excellent customer service.


Sept 2012 - Jan 2014

Producing all in-house collateral and a variety of creative jobs, large and small-scale projects from clients in various sectors and specialities. Design re-vamp, concepts for pitch work, re-design, re-branding, direct mail, brochures, adverts, flyers, leaflets, website design and build UX and UI, email design and broadcast. Creative requests from 19 account managers, whose clients include GSK, J&J, Omega, Transitions optical. Catering to the ever-changing environment of the web, mobile capabilities and iPad usage.


Feb 2010 - May 2012

In-house material primarily for Voyages of Discovery and sister ship companies Swan Hellenic and Hebridean Island Cruises. My task was to improve and develop the Voyages of Discovery brand, encourage cleaner design for advertising/promotion to our target audience through a difficult economic period in the travel industry. Creative included: flyers/letters/photography/postcards/inserts/trade and agent material for frequently mailing/Times, Telegraph, National Trust and RHS mailers and inserts/online brochures and web banners. I produced brochures for our UK, USA, AUSTRALIA branches (100 pages max) on a seasonal schedule. Working closely with the creative services team, marketing department and editor to ensure the design was relevant, on message and within allocated budgets and timescales.


May – Nov 2009

My role as a designer was to develop the editorial design and structure of the many journals produced for various clientele. I worked on many long established journals such as the British Journal of Home Health Care, British journal of Sexual Medicine, British Journal of Cancer Management, Dermatology in Practice and many more. I also updated each of the journals’ websites, which included summarizing and key wording.


July 2008 - March 2009

Working in a dynamic studio environment within a pro-active company, I created numerous adverts a day against tight deadlines for clients in the car industry and also other sectors such as leisure, pets, adult, and private businesses including in-house artwork. Publications including Thames Valley, South London, North London Auto Trader, Kent Ad Trader and Capital Cars.
